its seems like today’s music is mixing pop and r&b together. it is so hard to tell the difference because some r&b songs are related to pop music and some pop songs sound more like r&b but they are not consider in the r&b category like for example: Natasha Bedingfield- These Words, Jo Jo- Get Out Right Now, Nelly Furtado- Say It Right, or Adele- Chasing Pavements.

2yea kinda true…r&b is turning into pop nowadays….but Lady Gaga is pop and Keyshia Cole is r&b so there r still people who stay stricty to their genre…
